This is probably the challenging but yet the creative and opened-to-ideas project I've ever participated. I had a full trust credit to build from ground zero a complete user interface for this medieval turn-based MMO-RPG game, and even I was trusted enough to be part of brainstorming, giving ideas and opinions about the game mechanics, game economy and user-journey process.
In the process of designing and developing this amazing first of its kind on-chain game, I was given the great honor and opportunity to work with the artists who stands behind the heroes and images of the infamous game DOTA2! What a journey this was!
After all the end design I've developed in collaboration with DOTA2's art team was pretty satisfying and the UX usability testing, surveys and interviews had overall positive results.
In conclusion I had to say this particular project (UI for GameFI project) had been a huge learning curve for myself as a professional Game UI designer. I've learned new software(s) during this journey (Spine 2D, Adobe Dimension, etc.), I've met new amazingly talented artists (DOTA2's team) and in the end I dug so deep in this newly "conquered territories" that I started developing more and more personal-professional skills in other areas outside traditional design (AI image generating, 2D & 3D composing and even After Effects video post-production).
