The client wanted me to keep their luxury and stylish fashion line and to represent it even in their website via the color palette. We choose black and purple as a base.
This was one of my first attempts to let the content build the design of the website not the opposite like it was up to that moment, and even I tried to use the "user-centered methodology" thought back in 2013 I didn't know this principle yet.
Of course back in 2013 the Mobile versions of the websites was expensive and/or the clients doesn't care too much about the bunch of users that have got an smart-device in their palm. That's why this case doesn't have a proper mobile version. Even the responsive design wasn't invented yet...
I can bravely say it was my first UX experiment where I tried to understand what the main customers target group will be, and to prepare the appropriate color scheme, fonts, spaces, elements etc.
The design of this case is mine but all the credits belongs to the company I've been working for in 2013.
