Digital.bg is one of the first (if not the first) online portal for news in hi-tech department. The project was very specific because the audience has been used with the old UX and my task was to not destroy it completely with the new redesign.
Fortunately the PM of the project was... it's backend developer and that's why I had a clear road in front of me to implement whatever I want related with front-end.
I decided not to design it with the usual tools like Photoshop, Illustrator etc, but to go directly in to Webflow's designer and create it there on-demand. This way the owners can track the design's progress live and even can make some changes without loosing time with countless time-loosing iterations between us.
After the design was complete and approved (this means the front-end was done) I did some A/B tests. After the Digital.bg was redesigned and was live for a couple of weeks the results was that the site doesn't loose its audience at all, and even became much more visited and famous among the tech-news portals in Bulgaria than it was before the redesign.
